Once a big boy, always a big boy. I'm starting to see the $ signs associated with this.. maybe a NFL linebacker one day?
Where to begin with this month?! I can definately see him turning into an independent toddler. He wants to feed himself, walk by himself, put his shoes on by himself, etc.. I guess this is good.. but there are times when I think "child, you will have the rest of your life to be independent, just let your momma spoil you for a bit". He is a talking machine! He is really good at learning new words and has a pretty vast vocabulary. Sometimes, well a lot of times, he talks in complete jibberish and we carry on conversations that way.
Kyle has been working with him to learn his numbers, and he can now count to 5. He is also learning how to say please, however this isn't reinforced nearly as much as it needs to be.
I cant wait for the fall.. for many reasons but one of them being because I bought him all these adorable clothes ot the Otter Creek Consignment sale. Let the sweaters begin!
My brother came in town for a couple days, and Mason loves hanging out with his Uncle Bobby. Especially when Uncle Bobby gives him milkshakes from Chik Fil A. Sweets are a very rare privledge for this little man so he was pretty excited about it.
Kyle and I were so excited to take Mason to his first Vanderbilt game. Kyle had much higher hopes than I did, but I must say Mason did awesome! We only lasted one quarter, but he loved watching the band and the loud intercom, and of course shouted ball the whole time.
Love my two favotite men!
Stay tuned for pictures of Mason's first day of "school" (aka MDO).
