Family Firsts Part 1

This has been one exciting month...beach vacation with great friends, now beach vacation with the family! I think I can let the pictures tell the story, but needless to say we had a great time! There have been many firsts for Mason over the past weeks....first time with a sippie, first time sitting up (although he falls forward after about 3 seconds), first trip with his cousins, first weekend away from mom/dad, first time he laughed to the point of tears, and most importantly first time in the SAND! I think I probably took 600 pictures...I wish I could post them all!
The Creamer and Elliott family arrived a couple days before the rest of the Pruitt clan. The cousins had so much fun together...I can already tell they will all be best buds.

This is how Maggie crawls...FUNNIEST thing ever!

The girls loved playing with Mason while he was in his Jumpy...soon enough he will be crawling around with them. After being with the girls for a week I have learned to take advantage of the time before Mason starts to crawl all over the place....every time we turned our back they had electrical cords in there hands or they were playing with the electrical outlets. I should probably start baby proofing the house soon. We did attempt to go to dinner the first two nights. This is what night one looked like:
This was one exhausted baby by the end of the first day...and we hadn't even gone to the beach yet

Day 2: I was curious going into the week how Mason would do with his schedule. No fear... Day 2 he literally slept ALL day (by all day I mean he was only awake for 5 hours). I managed to get plenty of pictures during those 5 hours.

I'm sorry Hea but this was too funny to leave out. The girls love playing with boxes...unfortunately this was the only one they could find.

For dinner the second night we tried putting Mason in a highchair..it worked for about 20 minutes until he realized how tired he was and we reverted back to our normal way...holding him.

The rest of the Pruitt family arrived later that night.... I will save that for Part 2 of Family Firsts.
